
It was a hot summer day and when we all went for a swim in the farm pond, the family's two weimaraners joined us. They frolicked and swam and played keep-away. They were so playful and gentle that we immediately fell in love with the breed.

Back then we were backpack campers, so we had a special pack made just just for her where she carried her food.
She was a great hiker. She loved to run ahead of us on the trails, but returned every few minutes to check on us. The photo at right was taken in the Colorado winderness area. A year or two later, Pasha hiked with us to the top of Mount Marcy in the Adirondacks.
Pasha gave us nine beautiful puppies, none of which had her brown spots.
